CampusBridge is an independent student project by Product Alchemy. This notice describes the information used by this version of the product.

Account registration is currently closed while the service is being configured. You can use the demo without creating an account.

When you use the demo

The demo starts with fictional details. Your changes and progress are saved in browser storage on this device, not in the account database. Please use sample information. Reset demo or clear this site’s browser storage to remove it. If browser storage is unavailable, progress lasts only for the current session.

When you create an account

We use your login email for account access, confirmation, and recovery. Supabase manages your password and session. Your separate UTD email is used to verify access to that mailbox. A short-lived verification challenge is stored securely; the raw code is not stored.

Your name, arrival date, housing answers, included services, transportation answers, priorities, and task completion records personalize and save your plan. We do not request student IDs, passports, immigration documents, exact addresses, banking information, or service credentials.

Where information goes

The application is designed to use Vercel hosting and Supabase account/database services. A configured email provider sends account and UTD verification messages. Necessary service logs may include technical request information. CampusBridge does not add advertising or behavioral analytics trackers.

Resource links open external sites. Those sites apply their own privacy practices; CampusBridge does not submit your profile to them. Information you choose to enter there stays outside CampusBridge.

Access and removal

You can update your personalization answers in your profile and undo task completion. Account records are retained while your account remains active; expired verification challenges are cleaned up. Account deletion removes the associated profile, answers, verification, and progress from the active database. Provider backups may follow their retention periods.

For privacy questions or account deletion, contact aravind.venkatakrishna@utdallas.edu. The project owner will verify that the request belongs to you before acting. Do not send sensitive documents.

About verification

“UTD email verified” means the account owner successfully received a code at an @utdallas.edu address. It does not verify identity, immigration status, or current enrollment, and does not mean UTD endorses CampusBridge.
